📅 On April 6, 2026, the AKY school site (located in Thuong Trach Commune, Quang Tri Province) was officially inaugurated and put into operation. This meaningful project was jointly funded by the Hope Foundation and its partners, including Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co., Ltd.
📍 The AKY school site is located in the Vietnam–Laos border area, where socio-economic conditions remain challenging, infrastructure is limited, transportation is difficult, and access to basic services is still insufficient. Previously, students mainly studied in temporary classrooms that lacked adequate facilities and did not ensure a safe learning environment.
🏫 With the collective support of organizations and businesses, including Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co., Ltd., the AKY school site has been newly constructed with well-equipped facilities, including permanent classrooms, functional areas, and supporting infrastructure. This project not only replaces temporary classrooms but also contributes to improving the quality of teaching and learning for both teachers and students.
