From July 15 to 17, 2026, Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co., Ltd. (Toshiba) participated at The 19th International Exhibition on Electrical Technology & Equipment (ETE 2026), held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). At the exhibition, Toshiba showcased its range of high-efficiency electric motors and inverters, while introducing solutions designed to improve energy efficiency in industrial applications.
With nearly 650 participating companies and more than 12,000 visitors, ETE 2026 was one of Vietnam’s major and well-established annual exhibitions for the electrical industry. The event provided a platform for businesses to showcase new products and technologies, connect with industry peers, exchange insights, and explore potential business opportunities.
Introducing New Product Lines
Marking Toshiba’s second participation in ETE, the exhibition continued Toshiba’s efforts to introduce advanced technologies and solutions to customers and partners in Vietnam’s electrical industry.
At ETE 2026, Toshiba showcased several new products launched in May 2026, including:
- IE2 high-efficiency electric motors with cast iron housings, offering a cost-effective solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
- IE2 high-efficiency electric motors with steel housings, designed to meet the needs of agricultural applications in Vietnam.
- IE5 high-efficiency synchronous electric motors, developed to support higher energy efficiency and reduce power consumption.
- IECEx-certified explosion-proof electric motors, designed for applications requiring a high level of safety, particularly in the petrochemical industry.
These products were designed and developed with the expertise of Toshiba’s experienced engineering teams, with a focus on meeting diverse industrial requirements for performance, reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
More Than Product Showcasing – Sharing Knowledge on Motor Efficiency
Through its participation in ETE 2026, Toshiba not only introduced its products and provided consultations on suitable electric motor and inverter solutions, but also sought to share knowledge about electric motor applications, the differences between motor efficiency classes, and the benefits that high-efficiency motors can provide during operation.
These topics were presented through dedicated interactive and experiential areas at the Toshiba booth, giving visitors an opportunity to learn more about motor technologies, efficiency levels, and energy-saving solutions through hands-on experiences and visual demonstrations.
