Held annually since 1952, the Toshiba Group Technical Contest (Techcon) stands as one of the most historic and prestigious technical arenas within the Toshiba Group. With over 70 years of development, Techcon features more than 12 specialized categories in engineering and manufacturing craftsmanship, bringing together participants from Toshiba member companies worldwide.

Given the high level of competition, strict evaluation standards, and rigorous technical demands, winning at Techcon does more than just reflect an individual’s skill—it serves as a crucial benchmark for a company’s training capabilities, human resource development, and technical foundation.

TIPA – Outstanding Achievements at Techcon 2025

Since 2011, Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co., Ltd. (TIPA) has consistently sent representatives to the Toshiba Group Technical Contest in Japan, with a total of 23 contestants participating over the years.

Specifically for Techcon 2025, TIPA sent 4 contestants to compete, achieving impressive results with 2 Gold Awards and 2 Silver Awards across 3 key technical categories:
